| What are PuzZoll models made of, and what is included in the kit? PuzZoll models are made of hard and soft woods and everything you need to build one is included in the kit. This includes: CA Glue, nails, pre drilled hard wood, soft wood, step by step directions to build, wax-paper, and sandpaper. ----------------------------------
How hard is it to put together a PuzZoll model?
All the models are relatively easy to put together. Wormhole is the easiest, followed by Gravity, and Supernova would probably be considered the most difficult. PuzZoll models are recommended for ages 12 and up (children under 12 should be supervised by an adult) and can provide hours of educational fun. ----------------------------------
How long does it take to put together a PuzZoll model? It depends on your skill level and which particular model you are building, but most will find it easy to build in a day or two. Some may even finish in just a few hours. ---------------------------------- What kind of paint and or stains can I use with PuzZoll models? PuzZoll's "Opaque acrylic paint" is the best paint for covering up the wood and strengthening the model. If you are using a transparent paint, ink, or stain you will want to apply these methods BEFORE YOU BUILD. Also you will want to remember to test how the stain, ink, or transparent paint will react differently with hard and soft wood BEFORE applying to wood to be used on the model. Heavy saturation of liquid may warp some wood, be careful not to oversaturate. ----------------------------------
My PuzZoll broke! What should I do? PuzZoll models are easy to fix and will take you no time at all. First, try re-gluing the sticks that broke off back into their original positions. If that doesn't work or if you are missing some pieces, PuzZoll offers a repair kit for every model we sell. Just visit the PuzZoll Store and go to the Creative Accessories category to order. ----------------------------------
Are PuzZoll models made for outdoor use as well? PuzZoll models are not intended for outdoor use, however, that doesn't necessarily mean you can't enjoy them outside. The models are made from hard and soft woods and are relatively large and light. Under the right conditions they will fair very well outside but they can catch a strong wind. PuzZoll recommends fairly calm days. It is also recommended to bring them in at night and during bad weather. If you know your PuzZoll model may be experiencing some bad weather, it is recommended that you apply a transparent lacquer or paint your model in preparation.----------------------------------
